Solgar's Advanced Proanthocyanidin Complex is a synergistic blend of nature's most potent plant and herb proanthocyanidins plus: bioflavonoids, catechins and other natural flavonoids and polyphenols. This formula focuses on two of the most popular proanthocyanidins, Pycnogenol (pine bark extract and grape seed extract), due to the enormous amount of research attention they have received. Many of the biological activities and functions of these compounds are connected with their potent antioxidant free radical scavenging effects (RSE).
